My pet hate with all beauty products from conditioners & primers to sunscreen & moisturisers is anything that leaves my skin (or hair) feeling remotely sticky or greasy! I am therefore on a constant quest to find that perfect moisturiser that leaves my skin feeling like there is nothing on it & along the way I have found only a couple of moisturiser that fit the bill. My most recent discovery is the Elizabeth Arden Visable Difference Cream! I love the packaging - it comes in a heavy glass pot with a white lid & the product has a light fragrance which smells like fresh cut flowers (probably due to the freesia & heliotrope notes). I'm indifferent about the scent, I don't love it but it definitely doesn't put me off the product. The consistancy is quite thick so you only need a small amount to moisturise your whole face which is great as it means the 70g pot of cream lasts for ages!
I've always prefer to use moisturisers in the evening rather than during the day as I dont like to put make up on top of moisturisers (instead I use a primer in the day). I apply this before bed & enjoy waking up to fabulously radiant skin! I also love how quickly & easily it's absorbed into the skin (within about 20 seconds). The product claims to smoothe and refine the skin's surface texture - if that means reduced pores, softer skin & no spots then this product is definately doing its job. This cream really does work wonders for me but I wouldnt recommend it for people with particularly oily skin. I should mention that prior to my new discovery I was using the Clinque Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion which I also love for similar reasons! If you do have oily skin then I would recommend the Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel (instead of the lotion).
The Elizabeth Arden Visable difference Cream retails for £45 from Elizabeth Arden counters, however you can find it on Amazon for nearly half that price (around £25) - either way though, its worth the money especially as a little goes a long way!
