Born to Body Shop!

I dont know if any of you spied the amazing Body Shop deal on Groupon last week. I did & took full advantage. The offer was to spend £12 and get a £30 voucher to spend in store. I used to shop there was I was younger & remember all their White Musk products which I still love today! I spent ages deliberating about what to buy and finally decided on the following; Coconut Body Butter, Mango Body Scrub, Blue Corn 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Mask, White Cotton Headband, Born Lippy Passionberry Lip Balm and Almond Oil Nail & Cutile Treatment. I also managed to pick up a sample of their Vitamin E Eye Cream & a sachet of Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream.

I've already tried out pretty much everything! The Body Shop has loads of different Body Butter scents but Coconut is by far my favourite. It left my skin smelling amazing & feeling really hydrated. However I'm pretty impatient when it comes to moisturisers & felt it did take quite a while to sink into my skin. If you've got the time though its definitely worth it as my skin felt really soft in the morning. For me, fruity scents are a must for the shower so the Mango Body Scrub was already winner & it was just an added bonus that it left my skin feeling super soft without even moisterising...! I love the Blue Corn Face Mask - it smells good & leaves your skin feeling seriously clean! After leaving the mask on your skin to cleanse your pores for around 15 mins, the grains in the product allow you to exfoliate while rinsing. It left my skin feeling seriously clean. On to the face wash headband, I've wanted one for a while as I hate getting my hair wet while trying to wash my face! Normal thin headbands always seem to leave a dent in my hair if its just been washed so am really happy with the thicker cotton face wash headband.

As for the passionberry lip balm, it smells great but is far too sticky. Its definately more of a lip gloss than a balm & I wouldnt buy it again. Another winner was the Almond Oil Nail & Cutile Treatment. It does exaclty what it says on the tube & has kept my cutiles soft & moisteried.

I'm also contemplating investing in a full size version of the Vitamin E Eye Cream, it's really soothing, is absored quickly & I've noticed that on those dreaded early morning my eyes seem considerably less puffy! As for the Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream, I'm yet to try it. All in all, I was really happy with the products & the voucher! My final conclusion? Body Shop products smell amazing & on the whole are really moistering. So if you're looking for ethically resourced products that leave your skin smelling & feeling great, head over to The Body Shop.

All products listed above are avaliable in store
or online at The Body Shop.
